Project Owner: Accountable for the development of the Business Case, Cost Benefit Analysis, and documentation of the benefit realization of the project. And he is responsible to assure that the project is appropriately aligned with the organizational strategies, that the project is feasible, and there is appropriate organizational readiness for both the execution of the project and implementation of the solution, ensures that the project meets its objectives, including those associated with cost, schedule, quality, and scope, and partner closely with the Scrum Master and the Agile Team.
Portfolio Manager: The Portfolio Manager guides initiatives through initial concept and scope with the goal being to identify the projects for the demand queue. He is responsible to identify critical projects, negotiate priority, and ensure effective transition into the project development lifecycle. Develop and maintain an IT portfolio management game plan, analyze portfolio performance, collaborates on what needs to be measured, and what risks are associated with it thru risk profile analysis. Align demand with business goals and communicate and report requirements of the portfolio to Senior Management. Forecast needs and maintain a resource plan.
Program Manager: The Program Manager is responsible for integrating, monitoring, and controlling the interdependencies amongst the different components within the program.
Project Manager: A project manager is responsible for the planning, organization, resource management, and discipline pertaining to the successful completion of a specific project or objective.
Financial Analyst: The IT Financial Analyst provides key data needed by the Cost Center Manager to inform the Cost Center expense forecasting process, and is a key partner is assisting the Cost Center Manager in providing expense forecast information.
Scrum Master: The Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring that the Agile Team follows to the Agile methodologies, and its practices, along with Agile’s values and principles. He works closely with Product Owner through the project.
Business Process Analyst: He is responsible for facilitating and ensuring the overall adoption of standardized processes,influencing the adoption and success of those processes, measuring and growing process maturity, enabling continuous improvement, acting as a trainer for new teams, interested employees, and managers, providing ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring to project teams, conducting reviews of project work products to ensure that defined processes are followed, and facilitating continuous improvements to processes by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementation of best practices.
Subject Matter Experts: The Subject Matter Expert is the source of business information for the project team. Each project engages one or more subject matter experts. Each SME is expected to have an expert understanding of the business impacted by the project.
Business Analyst: Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, and documenting detailed business, organizational, and/or operational requirements, understanding the needs of business partners and stakeholders to ensure that solutions to business problems and opportunities are aligned to the needs of the organization, communicating, verifying, and gaining approval of the requirements from stakeholders, and providing input to various other project documents, such as project plans, estimates, readiness, and/or defect management deliverables.
System Analyst: The System Analyst is responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications to enable implementation. He develops, maintains, and release system designs. Create, develop, and maintain system designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs, and assisting in identifying design discrepancies, create navigation structures and information designs, and construct prototypes, storyboards, and mockups that effectively communicate the ideas described by the requirements to product management and development.
